The First Private University of the Arts

The long term ambitions for Arts for India is to raise an endowment fund to develop the International Institute of Fine Arts into the first private university of the arts in India.

This new exclusive Fine Arts University in India will also provide a wide range of graduate and postgraduate degree courses in the fields of art, design, fashion, communication and the performing arts.

This university will be located in Modinagar (in the National Capital Region), India, an area that has developed as an education hub of the country. The proposed university,to be built on 70 acres of land, will be equipped with state of the art academic and residential facilities comprising high-tech class rooms, study rooms, laboratories, workshops, e-centres, hostels, art galleries, museums, auditoriums and sports recreation facilities. This university, envisaged to become the largest Arts University in the region, will offer undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in a wide variety of subjects in the field of visual and performance arts,including Fine Art, Applied Art, Fashion, Design, Textile Design, Jewellery Design,Interior Design, Ceramics, Music, Dance, Journalism, Mass Communication, Animation and courses in Film & Television.

This University campus will be built in a serene and peaceful ambience with a lake,swimming pool, golf course, playground, tennis court and sprawling green gardens within its campus.
